This 1-month intensive sprint brings together law students, legal scholars, and legal tech enthusiasts to compile, analyze, and structure state practice, regional human rights frameworks (e.g., the Cartagena Declaration, OAU Convention), and UN Human Rights Committee decisions into a central, open-access legal index. Using 100% free digital platforms (Notion, Zotero, GitHub Pages), the team will catalog legal mechanisms—such as non-refoulement under international human rights law—that can be leveraged by pro-bono attorneys, NGOs, and policy researchers worldwide. The final deliverable will consist of an interactive open database and a downloadable policy briefing paper.
